A
phrase is a group of words in a sentence that does NOT contain a subject and a
verb.
Example
:
1. My
head feels like gonna be explode because of trying to answer this difficult question.
2. I
will go to the national library tomorrow.
3.
A dog with a scar on the neck is mine.
4.
I saw Linda read the poem very beautifully.
5.
Raka is a diligent student in my class.
2. Clause
A
clause is a group of words in a sentence which contains a subject and a
verb.Unlike phrases, a clause can sometimes act as a sentence – this type of
clause is called an independent clause. This isn’t always the case, and some
clauses can’t be used on their own – these are called subordinate clauses, and
need to be used with an independent clause to complete their meaning.

cat eat whatever the brand of the catfood.
2. Bekasi
is the city where I met you.
3. I’ll
come to the wedding party if she won’t come.
4. We
watch tv on the smartphone because our tv was broken.
5. Selena
likes the man who is handsome and tall.

3. Sentence
A
sentence is a group of words giving a complete thought. A complete sentence has
a subject and predicate, and can often be composed of more than one clause. As
long as it has a subject and a predicate, a group of words can form a sentence,
no matter how short.

My brother went to Lombok two days ago.

He took my money from my wallet without permission.
3.
The old man usually walks around the garden.
4. Felix has been reading a book for two hours.
5. Raka sent some money to his parents in the village.
